For those of you that have been following our project Valiant Effort, You may have been wondering, " When are you guys going to paint that thing"? Well, your question has been answered with the statement "last month, and it's ready to reassemble." With a joint Effort (pun intended), between Muscle Car Restorations (715/834-2223) in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, and Year One, (800/950-9503) in Braselton, Georgia, our project Valiant came out of the paint booth with and eye-searing shade of what we'll call Valiant White. MCR did a fantastic job of fixing and straightening the body before covering it with paint, and Year One was the preferred supplier of parts.

While hauling the body back to Florida, Publisher Jerry Pitt was following in his car, and had the brilliant idea of assembling the car at the Chryslers at Carlisle event July 9-11, and at the Mopar Nationals August 13-15. Being the glutton for punishment that I am, I agreed it would be a great idea for the readers to see us put it together. I'm still not sure about my stress level, but what the hey. So, we've gathered a group of buddies that have been involved in the car for some time, and that's what we're going to do. Sure, we're going to have coverage in Mopar Muscle magazine, but if you come to the show, you can see us make fools of ourselves in person. That's gotta be worth somethin', right?--Randy (Mopar Muscle Editor)
